Ledecky told Stanford's 2025 graduates she has swum about 26,000 miles (42,000 km) in her life, more than a full lap around the Earth. That relentless grind made her the first woman in any sport to win the same individual event at four straight Olympics, dominating the 800-meter freestyle from age 15 to 27.
