3 million
Ukrainian factories built 3 million FPV drones for the army in 2025, about 8,000 a day and nearly 2.5 times the 2024 total. Almost all were contracted straight from domestic manufacturers. Pilots fly them through video goggles into tanks, trucks and trenches. The army also employed almost 15,000 ground robots, triple the number a year earlier.
Ukraine's factories could have built far more. The country's security council says the industry can turn out more than 8 million FPV drones a year across more than 160 companies, and officials say funding rather than factory capacity is what holds deliveries below that.
