Denmark voted in 2025 to lift its state pension age to 70 by 2040, the highest in Europe. France is heading to 64 by 2032 and Germany to 67 by 2031. In some countries the rules still split by sex. Poland lets women claim at 60 and men at 65, and Austria at 61 and 65.
France retires at 64, Canada at 65, the US at 67. Denmark is heading for 70 by 2040.
