Sweden tested AI on its mammogram screening. What percent more cancers did it catch?

AI-assisted screening found 29% more cancers than Sweden's standard method, which has two radiologists read every mammogram independently. In a randomized trial of 106,000 women it also cut radiologist reading work by 44%. Women screened with AI had 12% fewer cancers surface between screenings.
