America.gov unifies 29,000 federal websites into a single chatbot. Powered by Gemini and Grok, it pulls answers strictly from official sources to help people navigate everyday government services. It is live now for anyone to use, with direct sign-ups for Medicare and Social Security scheduled for phase two in early 2027.
The UK closed 1,720 of its 2,000-plus central government websites and moved what people needed onto a single domain, GOV.UK. The US has more than fourteen times as many federal websites as the UK ever had.
Check out America.gov, a new chatbot that scans 29,000 government websites to answer citizen questions in one spot.
