Everyone expected GTA 6 to be the first $100 video game. What does the standard edition cost in the US?

$79.99 for the standard edition, not the $100 everyone was bracing for, though the Ultimate does reach $99.99. GTA 5 launched at $59.99 back in 2013, which is about $85 in today's dollars, so GTA 6 is cheaper than the game it follows.

Neither edition ships on a disc. Rockstar confirmed the boxed PS5 and Xbox copies contain only a download code, which means there's no used-game market for GTA 6 at all.

GTA 6 sells for $79.99. Adjusted for inflation, that is less than GTA 5 cost at launch in 2013.
